Nowadays, a portable battery is no longer a "nice bonus" — it's a real necessity. Blackouts, working outside the home, business trips, or travel require always having a reliable energy source at hand. It's especially valuable when a power bank can power not only a smartphone or router but also add a few hours of autonomy to a laptop.

Moreover, such devices are available even on a fairly limited budget. For example, the Vinga 20000 mAh 65W Display USB-C Cable Grey (VPBB2065C) offers a capacity of 20,000 mAh, output power up to 65W via USB-C, and a display for charge monitoring. In its class, it's one of the most affordable options, capable of extending the operation of almost any gadget with USB-C or traditional USB-A power support. So, let's get to know it better and check its real capabilities.

The box features the traditional Vinga branding and sufficient informativeness. However, it states a warranty period of 2 years, while online stores indicate 1 year. Meanwhile, the device's shelf life is estimated at 3 years.
The package includes only a short booklet in Ukrainian and English. The power bank itself has a cable-strap with a USB-C connector attached.
The design of the Vinga 20000 mAh 65W Display USB-C Cable Grey (VPBB2065C) is quite restrained but practical. The gray plastic case is complemented by the manufacturer's logo and the maximum output power indication. A large part of the front panel is dedicated to the screen, although its useful area is actually very small — it displays the charge level in percentage and indicates energy transfer/reception.
With dimensions of 108 × 68 × 32.5 mm, the device is still not pocket-sized but quite typical for a mobile battery of this capacity. The device weighs 352 g.
The back panel is made of darker plastic and is also well protected from fingerprints. Additionally, there is a lot of useful information here.
Although the nominal capacity of the Vinga VPBB2065C is 20,000 mAh, the usable value is less — 12,000 mAh, which is explained by energy losses during voltage conversion. However, this figure is relevant at a load of about 10W (2A at 5V), so with higher consumption, the actual capacity will be lower.
Both ports, USB-A and USB-C, are located on the right edge, with their maximum power indicated nearby.
The most interesting is the USB-C — it can deliver 65W, making it suitable for charging or powering a laptop, console, router, or other devices. Its input power for charging the internal battery is traditionally lower — 45W. Meanwhile, the USB-A port can deliver a maximum of 22.5W.
There is another USB-C here, designed as a 17-cm braided cable that comes directly from the case. It is fixed in a slot on the top panel, next to the universal button. As with the side USB-C, the output power is up to 65W, and the input for battery charging is up to 45W.
On one hand, this design allows you to always have a cable at hand. On the other hand, any cable eventually needs replacement, so the output connector is a more universal and durable option.
Now let's move on to testing the Vinga 20000 mAh 65W Display USB-C Cable Grey (VPBB2065C).
We measured the actual battery capacity at a voltage consumption of 12.2V and a discharge current of about 0.17A. The obtained value of 5510 mAh or ≈67 Wh is quite high for a device with a nominal battery capacity of 20,000 mAh.
Fully charging the device requires about 91 Wh and takes over 5 hours when using an 18-watt charging adapter (9.2V, 2A). If a 45W power supply is used, this procedure will take a little over 2 hours.
The power bank was able to power a mini-PC with a power consumption of about 59 W without any issues. However, delivering such significant power is accompanied by a substantial increase in the case temperature — up to about 40°C. On the other hand, according to the manufacturer's booklet, if the heating is less than 55°C, it is considered normal.
Thus, Vinga VPBB2065C is optimally suited for laptops without discrete graphics and can support the operation of more powerful devices under moderate loads.
Despite its affordable price, the power bank Vinga 20000 mAh 65W Display USB-C Cable Grey (VPBB2065C) leaves a pleasant impression. Its actual capacity is close to the stated one, and the 65 W power allows it to easily power a non-demanding laptop or other gadgets. The only thing to consider is that when operating at maximum power, the case heats up noticeably, which can be uncomfortable and potentially reduce the battery's lifespan, as lithium-ion cells do not like prolonged overheating.
The ports are implemented in a somewhat unusual way: there is USB-C, USB-A, and a built-in cable with USB-C that comes directly out of the case. Both USB-C ports not only deliver power up to 65 W but also receive it, supporting charging up to 45 W. Thanks to this, the battery can be fully charged in less than 2.5 hours.
The built-in cable is convenient since it is always at hand and even serves as a strap. However, in case of damage, the case will need to be disassembled, which significantly complicates repairs.
In conclusion, Vinga VPBB2065C can be considered a balanced solution for those looking for an inexpensive yet powerful power bank with laptop charging support.
